As one of the ACLab assignments, Dan and I worked on the following scenario. Due to the excellent feedback from other team members, I would like to share our presentation and feedback.
Scenario:
Imagine you work for a large company. You have been advocating for hiring an agile coach for a while now. Finally, you got access to the company executives – they are inviting your group for a max of 8 minutes of presentation. Your task is to convince them that they should hire agile coaches.

Hi Dan and Hamid,
Please see my feedback about your pitch video below. positive liked your introductions. They helped me instantly relate to both of you and your experiences. The pace was good, and it was easy to follow. Your agenda was good, and I liked how you used stickies throughout your presentation. I liked that you thought about how to make the presentation more interactive by using music and video clips. It was great that you explained the difference between a coach and a consultant. Favourite part – you spoke confidently and explained each part in detail. I felt that you had good knowledge and expertise in the area, and I could trust you. Improvement suggestions really liked your creativity, but thinking about the audience you’re presenting to, I probably wouldn’t use the Star Wars soundtrack or the ball game video in your presentation. In my experience, executives who don’t know a lot about Agile sometimes get the wrong impression that it’s all just fun and games. Even though the game is a great example of team agility, it could have been misinterpreted. I felt that your wrap up could have had a greater impact if you related back to some of the issues the company was facing so that the executives could see why the Agile Coaches were needed in this particular company.

Hi Dan and Hamid
Your presentation is unique and creative too. I felt that you both have put a lot of effort into coordination and discussing – it shows your teamwork. Good selection of videos, it made me very interesting at the beginning with music and videos – you both have drawn my attention – I started focusing and curious to know what will be the next that was the impression you have created – well done!!!. However, you made a big bang and later the slides were not that much attractive about “why we need an Agile coach” and I felt you have concluded the presentation very quickly too – you could have used 2 minutes to talk about some facts since your presentation is completed in SIX minutes.
Regards
Rojaa

Hey Hamid & Dan,
I like Star Wars so you get an A+ from me . Good introduction, nice interplay between you both throughout the video and good use of the visual prompts. You explained quite well what an Agile Coach does. I liked the videos but wondered if they were relevant to pitching to executives. Maybe a little more explanation of what the videos were showing could have been good.
Also, I would avoid using emotive terms – the word “love” in relation to Agile popped up in your introduction. Some of the sticky notes were a little hard to read. Also, a summary at the end to wrap up the presentation would have rounded it out.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this presentation with me.
